We will update the content of this blog as the events of the COVID-19 outbreak determine a need.
Update: March 17, 2020
With the recent COVID–19 virus outbreak, rmsource is closely monitoring and adjusting based on the CDC and WHO recommendations as well as national and local orders for social distancing as it relates to work environments. Our services have not been affected by COVID–19 to date.
We want our clients, partners, and vendors to know that we are continuing to conduct business as usual. And want to update you on the pre-planning that has taken place to ensure this continues throughout the outbreak. This past weekend we instituted our work-from-home policy to support the current social distancing recommendations and limit rmsource staff exposure at each of our locations.
Before this pandemic, we put in place the infrastructure, technology, and security policies to effectively and productively move our teams to a work from home model. We continue to maintain the staff resources and coverage overlap to support uninterrupted 24×7 support for our managed service clients as per already in place SLAs.
As cases of the virus rise, we do anticipate illness among our teams. First and foremost, we are concerned about their health and that of their families. We expect that they should stay home, follow the recommended medical guidelines, and get well. It’s for this reason, and to maintain service continuity, that we have identified overlapping coverage of essential roles, including our NOC/SOC personnel, as well as company support and communication platforms.
